Tri-ing (too hard)

Triathlon looms--Sunday's the day
Will I make it all the way?

1/3 mile swim, then the bike
Running's next (quite a hike.)

Hoped I'd have the implants in
To improve bouyancy on the swim.

Alas, I'll just have sagging mounds
As I pass the cheering crowds.

Wish me luck and pray a load
I don't expire on Braddock Road.

Ok, I don't get it...how MUCH time do you have on your hands?!?! You have three sons, a job, a husband, a shit infested house and a friend you call at least four times a day AND YET...you continue to find time for your sorry poems!!! Sheesh.

Good luck Irene! I enjoyed your "sorry poem"... I'm always amazed at how creative you can be, and I wonder how does she do it???

A great testimonial for what one can accomplish when consuming Tab Energy (Red Bull is so yesterday). With every good wish for great success --- Irene is the tried and true WARRIOR!!!! (I like your poems too.)

Violets are blue.
Steriods will help,
Give your chest its due.

You better hope that senile dog of yours doesn't leave a load in your track shoes Saturday night.

Swim, bike, and run and be happy. You can do it. God knows I can't!
